“Bagpipe Guard, then don't make fun of Brother Chen.” So it turned out the guard in the purple robe was called Bagpipe. Bagpipe didn't comment either way and said nothing; he simply handed the water bottle at his waist to Chen Guayan, signaling him to drink. For him, teasing a young boy was merely a way to lighten the mood and had no ill intent.
Chen Guayan was genuinely thirsty. After traveling a long distance and with the tension earlier, his mouth was already parched. Now, seeing the water bottle handed to him by Bagpipe, he took it without hesitation and drank deeply.
With the moment of calm, Ye Banming thought of his fiancée, Lu Xiaozhu. The boy's innocence lifted his spirits greatly. Lu Xiaozhu had a temper, but he truly liked her.
Huang San noticed Ye Banming's contemplative expression and probably guessed the thoughts of his young master, his eyes revealing both fondness and helplessness.
As for Chen Guayan, after returning the nearly empty water bag to Bagpipe, he adopted an earnest, inquisitive look and asked:
“Hey, tell me, how big is the world out there?”
Hearing Chen Guayan's question, Bagpipe didn't answer right away. He tilted his head to look at the blue sky and spoke slowly:
“The sky you can see right now is only the size of your palm.” He paused, then continued, “And legend has it, beyond the sky, there is another sky, where the life within can, with a mere flip of the hand, shake the human world, causing earthquakes and reversing the seas.”
Chen Guayan listened very intently. Before, he thought that if he could buy a big house in Sanjiang County, marry Li Yunqing, and have a row of healthy, chubby sons, he would be satisfied for life. But now, his thoughts reached farther, as if he had glimpsed a whole new world.

So, did I actually die or not?
I found that after I posted a novel, I just ran away.
Back to the first floor, it seems that Huangfu Chaoyun is alive and well.
I want to quit... I don't want to get involved in dirty business
The content on the second page is wonderful.
Thank you, Damen, for the encouragement
I want to hang up I want to hang up I want to hang up
Very good, but the wording is not very well done. 'The sky you see now is only about the size of a palm.' No matter how you look at it, this sentence seems a bit like mocking Chen Guayan as a frog at the bottom of a well. However, Chen Guayan doesn't care at all and instead writes a comparison of his past ideals with his current ideals. This is very good, as it shows the protagonist's progress.
This chapter is well written… thumbs up
