This time, supercell's fifth single is a double A-side, which includes the ED2 of "Guilty Crown" and the ending song for the new anime "BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER." The CD illustrations for these two discs were designed by supercell's two ace illustrators, redjuice and huke, respectively.
Although the lead singer koeda is still relatively new and her overall completion may not match that of her predecessor Nagi, ryo's arrangement gives her a great opportunity to showcase the unique qualities of her voice.
The song "Confession" begins with a haunting and delicate whisper, with the singer's full explosive power strongly presented in the chorus. The heartfelt shouts completely connect 集 and 祈心, bridging the distance between them. Their new world will surely redeem this dark and chaotic present.
In "Bokura no Ashiato," the hoarse low tones of the verses contrast sharply with the powerful, high-pitched choruses, creating an auditory spectacle. The strong, ascending rhythm and increasingly energetic high notes represent the true essence of Black★Rock Shooter. The sky-piercing shouts are like the unquenchable flames in her left eye, the only light in the dark world that can guide the way forward.
