Just played Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade
Frustrated, I tried to duel an archer with Pegasus; hitting him didn't hurt at all, but one arrow from him killed me. I didn't want anyone to die, so I had to replay, and the main character is so useless, nothing to use him for except for suppression.

You are truly invincible. Archers can defeat flying horses. When you play to a level that has a powerful boss, if you miss even a few hits and don't have a heavy armor sword, just be prepared to start over (even if you hit him, he doesn't lose much health, and once he sits on his throne, his health is fully restored).
