★ Game Introduction:
Contra is a side-scrolling arcade shooting game series released in 1987, but was later ported to other platforms. Players take on the role of special soldiers facing a large number of enemies, ranging from humans and machines to aliens and extraterrestrials. During combat, players can shoot down special flying targets to gain various power-ups.
Players start with a standard submachine gun that can fire in eight directions, but after obtaining upgraded weapons, they can switch to other types of weapons.
