Phoenix Technology News, May 5 noon: Nokia's entry-level Windows Phone smartphone Lumia 610 has officially launched in Shanghai. The retail price of this phone at Nokia's Shanghai flagship store is 1,699 RMB, slightly higher compared to Hong Kong's 1,988 HKD (approximately 1,611 RMB). Earlier reports indicated that Nokia Lumia 610 was expected to be available in the domestic market on May 12, but the Nokia Shanghai flagship store has already started selling this low-end Windows Phone, currently available only in black and white colors, with a unified price of 1,699 RMB.
As an entry-level phone, the Lumia 610 has certain gaps in configuration compared to mid-to-high-end Lumia 800 and Lumia 710. It features an 800MHz processor and 256MB RAM, just meeting the minimum requirements of the Windows Phone 7.5 operating system, and has similar performance to the first-generation Windows Phone, capable of running the Windows Phone OS smoothly.
Currently, Nokia has launched four Windows Phone phones in China: Lumia 800 priced around 3,500 RMB; Lumia 800C priced around 3,500 RMB; Lumia 710 priced around 2,000 RMB; Lumia 610 priced around 1,700 RMB, covering high, medium, and low price ranges.
