Since the beginning of this year, multiple quad-core smartphones have been released, such as the HTC One X, Huawei Ascend D quad, and Samsung GALAXY S III, as well as the world's first quad-core phone, LG Optimus 4X HD. Now, another new quad-core phone has been revealed by foreign media, and this phone is called the LG G.
LG G LS970 Revealed
The LG G, with the model number LS970, as seen in the product specification screenshots leaked by foreign media, will feature a 4.7-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) touchscreen, which is expected to be an LG True HD IPS display with excellent display quality. It also has a quad-core processor with a main frequency of 1.5GHz. Additionally, the LG G LS970 will come with the latest Android 4.0 operating system and support 4G LTE networks.
As for whether the LG G LS970 will use NVIDIA's Tegra 3 quad-core processor like the LG Optimus 4X HD, there is no definite information yet. However, foreign media speculate that since this phone is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of this year, it may use Texas Instruments' OMAP 5 quad-core processor.
