"What does he want me to find? A well?" Leixia murmured to herself. She hadn't forgotten the dream this time; she had just instinctively lied. Deep down, she had a strong feeling that there was something in this house closely connected to her, something her grandmother and others didn't want her to know.

Curiosity is the most irresistible temptation in the world, especially when the truth has some wonderful, tangible connection to oneself. At that moment, Leixia was being tempted and quickly succumbed. She was a smart girl and understood that exploration required timing. Now was clearly not a good opportunity; her grandmother and second uncle would surely be watching her. She would wait a few days, until they no longer worried.

Leixia fell into a deep sleep. The night wind rose, weaving through the old mansion... Deep within the house, the wind howled, sounding like bursts of gentle laughter...

After a week passed, nothing happened. Leixia's face regained its flush, and she no longer had dreams. Her grandmother and second uncle seemed at ease, no longer watching the house every day.

On a rainy day, unlike the gray pallor of the city, raindrops rolled down the leaves, carrying a fresh, bright green. Second Uncle went to town early to buy daily necessities, mainly to pick up some better snacks for Leixia so she wouldn't get bored in the mountains. Aunt took Leijie up the mountain to gather herbs, leaving only Leixia and her grandmother in the spacious mansion.

"Brother Lei! Open the door! Brother Lei!"

Leixia sat alone under the eaves, listening to the raindrops pattering on the stones, holding a game console and playing happily! Reluctantly putting the console down, she ran across the courtyard to open the door. A sturdy man, soaking wet, stood at the doorway. Seeing Leixia, he was momentarily stunned, then reacted: "This is Xiaxia, right?"

Leixia nodded politely: "Yes, hello, uncle!"

"Hello... hello..." the man replied naively, then looked into the courtyard: "Is your second uncle home? I need to see him!"

Hearing the commotion, Grandmother came out of the kitchen and greeted him: "Boss Zhang is here! Why don't you come in and sit? Look at you, all drenched!"

"Ah, Grandma Lei, I'm in a hurry! My son started talking nonsense since this morning, his forehead is very hot. Even after giving him cold medicine, he hasn't improved for a long time. Could your second brother take a look?"

"Oh! Yong's child is sick again? My second brother has gone to town. I'll go with you!""Grandma went back into the room to get an umbrella and some medicine, and at the door, she told Lei Xia, 'Xia Xia, you just stay in this room. The house is abandoned, with lots of bugs and ants.'"
Lei Xia replied accordingly, closed the door, but her mind was still on the medicine Grandma had held in her hand just now—the scent of the medicine smelled just like the medicine she took for heatstroke!

It would be even better with a bit more rhetoric.
Such a failure! Whoever sells tofu, give me a piece to bang, selling noodles is fine too, I'm going to hang myself!!
I don't understand this, please tell me about it, I want to see what kind of effect it has!
The rhetorical techniques for scenery include metaphor, personification, and association, and you can also add some action descriptions to enhance the atmosphere.
Oh, hehe! Actually, moderation is key; overdoing the embellishment can have the opposite effect. Adjust the description's intensity according to the plot's effect!! Ah hahaha.
You two are really good brothers..
