The room should have a little bit of light, but not too bright. Set your phone's photo mode to [negative], and then slowly shake... keep shaking. You need a sudden shake; it's best to take a photo at a speed that would even startle yourself. Ideally, your face should be visible in the photo. Then, without turning on the lights, carefully look around, and you should be able to see a very scary face, although I haven't tried it myself.
