(center) Chapter 29: Demonization of Ghosts and Gods (left) From the body of this enormous black dragon, a cold and illusory aura constantly emanated, ethereal yet tangibly present. The dragon's originally blood-red eyes were as cold as ice, shooting out sharp, frigid gazes. At the level of Saint Sovereign, killing a person with a mere glance was no longer difficult. The gaze of a dragon could even pierce directly through a person's soul. Gig did not retreat, lifting his head to calmly look up at it. The man and the dragon faced off in this way. Suddenly, the surroundings fell silent, and the entire world seemed to consist of only the two of them. Gig could clearly hear the powerful beating of the dragon's heart. A gust of wind blew through, carrying a few withered leaves and dust, breaking the heavy atmosphere. The dragon rose, looking down on Gig from above with cold disdain. "Oh? Lowly human, you actually have the courage to gaze upon me?" the black dragon said with slight doubt. "What is your trump card?" This was the first time Gig heard the dragon language. He felt the voice was very strong, the tone low but deep and powerful, deafening like thunder. "Hmph…" Gig bent down to pick up the Autumn Leaf Blade and responded with a cold sneer. He raised the Ghost Hand high above his head and laughed wildly. "With my life as the wager! Grant me power! Destroy ghosts and gods—Kazan of Blade Soul!" The runes on the Ghost Hand flashed madly, as a red light streaked across. "Swish!" The overwhelming aura of destruction erupted from the Ghost Hand! Gig laughed in a kind of indescribable, frenzied manner. "Hehehe…" Gig's golden pupils were dyed a terrifying blood color by the desire for slaughter, differing from the dragon's eyes. These eyes were full of bloodlust. A blood-colored flame spread downward from the palm of Gig's raised Ghost Hand, and at the same time, Gig's power grew frantically, along with a continuously swelling desire. With each inch the flame spread, the killing intent radiating from Gig became wilder. The dragon furrowed its brow at the sight. Soon, Gig's whole body was engulfed in this terrifying blood-colored fire. Standing within the flames was a true demon! "Hehehehe…" Gig lowered his head, holding his head with his hands, and laughed terrifyingly with a demonic voice, "Tell me, what is my trump card?" He slowly lifted his head, and in his blood-colored eyes, narrow as cracks, the pupils reflected the dragon's silhouette. "Hmm? Evil Dragon Spitz?""A shadow gradually appeared behind Jige. A tall man with blonde hair and red eyes—the God of Destruction, Kazan.
The dragon trembled at these words. "Kazan!"
"Long time no see, Spitz." Jige sneered. "I can't believe you're still alive. But just barely surviving in this little girl's body—doesn't seem very meaningful, does it?"
Spitz slammed his claw hard on the ground, leaving a conspicuous massive claw mark. He raised his head and roared in anger, frightening a flock of birds in the forest.
"Enough! Kazan! Your situation isn't any better either!" Spitz said viciously, spewing green flames in the air.
Jige picked up the autumn-leaf knife and greedily licked the blade, laughing maniacally.
The sharp blade easily cut his tongue, blood flowing out immediately swallowed into his stomach.
Jige gently stroked the blade, savoring the taste of the blood. "How nostalgic… those days of drinking blood to my heart's content."
A sinister smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. Jige looked at Spitz and licked his lips.
"The taste of dragon blood… should be quite good, right?"
He raised his weapon and charged forward, his eyes flashing with eerie red light, shouting like a phantom.
"Satisfy me with your precious dragon blood!"
