The main function and most attractive aspect of a forum is interactive communication. In the early stages of establishing a forum, it is correct for moderators to post a few decent articles to attract members. However, once members have registered, attention should shift to responding to members' posts. Anyone who posts in a forum desires attention for their posts, whether through praise, criticism, or discussion, which can bring members back again.

What frustrates poster the most is when their posts are ignored, because every topic post (excluding random comments) is made after some consideration, and some posts consume a great deal of the author's effort and time. As the saying goes: the greatest contempt one can show to others is indifference. When a post receives no attention, it feels even more lonely and disappointing than being hit by a few "bricks."
