How do you unlock other furniture in The Sims 3?

After a few days in the game, the system will notify you that new furniture is available. I don't quite remember the exact number of days.
I unlocked the first two, I've been playing constantly, hitting on all the women in town, but it just won't come out.

The version you play is different... The EA official version and the Traditional Chinese BT version I played both require waiting to unlock furniture, and the dynamic effects in the Traditional version are a bit better. In World Tour, you have to fly to different countries to buy things. If you are playing another version, then I really can't help. I wish you have fun playing.
