Help, what is in the photo? I caught it this afternoon.
What's it called? Can it be eaten? Some people say it's the Taiwan red-clawed crab. Some people say it's a fiddler crab. But why does it only have one big claw?

Your hand got broken, poor crab.
Sigh, nobody knows.
OP, it's impossible for a crab to have only one claw for two reasons: (1) It accidentally got broken at some point and couldn't grow back, but the wound was stitched up; (2) Genetic mutation.
You think I am cruel, but that is a type of crab, and most of them are the same.
