Methods to Speed Up Your Phone
1. UC Browser settings can help speed up internet. First, go to > Settings > System Settings, change font size: 18, image quality: low color, use WAP acceleration, do not use prefetch type. > Save configuration\ 2. Also, the phone needs some settings (for phones with S60V3 system): Menu > Applications > Multimedia Tools > REALPLAYER > Options > Settings > Streaming > Network > Options > Advanced Settings > EGPRS Bandwidth > Select 108.80 kbit/s > Confirm.\ 3. Calendar > Options > New Calendar Entry > To-Do Task, Subject: Speed, Scheduled Date: 29-01-2008 (dd-mm-yy), Priority: High. Then select Calendar > Options > New Calendar Entry > To-Do Task, Subject: Qoukie, Scheduled Date: 29-01-2008 (dd-mm-yy), Priority: Low. Finally, mark both items as "Completed", remember!!!!\ 4. Menu > Settings > Theme Mode > Standard > Options > Theme Mode Effects > Off. Your phone should respond much faster now.\ 5. Settings for slow message writing and sending: Messages > Options > Settings > Others > Storage Used > Phone Storage\ 6. Power-saving tip: Through personal testing, I found something quite power-consuming and useless, which is voice command. Turn it off and you will find your phone lasts much longer!
