According to insiders, it will be a "dramatic action blockbuster," and the "Phantom Troupe" currently appearing in the TV version will also be active in the movie. "HUNTER×HUNTER" (also known as "Hunter") is a popular manga by Yoshihiro Togashi with over 60 million copies published in total. It has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" since 1998. The story's protagonist is a boy named Gon, who sets out on a journey to become a professional Hunter in order to find his father. He meets and befriends Killua, from an assassin family; Kurapika, the sole survivor of the Kurta Clan; and Leorio, who is cheerful, straightforward, and aims to become a doctor. Together, they embark on continuous adventures. The TV remake is currently airing weekly. Since the 15th, the highly popular "Phantom Troupe Arc" from the original work has started. In this series, the title "HUNTER" represents society's super-elite in the story's world. Hunters have more power than ordinary people and often act according to their personal preferences. Although the movie's story is completely original, Togashi himself commented that he even "wants to write it himself," indicating that the script structure is reasonably good. In the title "The Scarlet Phantom," the word "Scarlet" reminds us of Kurapika, the sole surviving member of the Kurta Clan with red eyes, while "Phantom" naturally points to the "Phantom Troupe," who annihilated the Kurta Clan.
