Actually, the hardest original 1v3 level is Solitude. For other levels, I can clear them without using stones, but this level is genuinely unsolvable.
The difficult map you mentioned that you made yourself has the red forces scattered, blue and green expanding in the center, and there is a black threat in the east. If it's a 1v3 for red, the houses are everywhere and not enough to be divided among the opponents, plus there are many high grounds and a high forest coverage. From the beginning, it's a situation where multiple heroes are contending chaotically.
Fifth floor, when I played this map, I actually had the Blue-Green team fighting against Red-Black (this is the proper way to play).
When I say 1v3, I don't mean a free-for-all with four people, but three AIs cooperating to fight you alone. If you can handle that for 15 minutes, I would really admire you.
I don't think the loneliness map is that hard to beat. 1 vs 3 is still pretty easy as long as you're familiar enough with the computer's patterns.
