s40 extract jar (transfer)
Using MC to extract installed software: First, you need to transfer the software or game you want to extract into 'Collections' or 'Games'. Then, go to Settings - Sync and Backup - Create Backup - Continue - check the boxes in front of Applications and Games - press 'Done' - then it will prompt that it has been saved to the memory card. Next, open MC - find the backup file (backup000.NBF) - highlight it - hold down the '6' key for 1 second and release - change the extension to: backup000.zip. After that, click to enter - find predefjava, click to enter, and you will see predefgames (games)/predefcollections (collections) - click to enter, and you will see xx.jar (the red one is the one, the others don't need to be touched). Highlight this xx.jar, press the '6' key for 1 second and release, change xx.jar to xx_jar (as long as it's not suffixed with '.xx'), then press 'Confirm' (Note: after pressing 'Confirm', there will be a brief pause, don't worry). After the page switches, highlight xx_jar, press '5' key - it will prompt to extract 1 file to /E:, then press Confirm (left software)! At the same time, a file you extracted will appear in the root directory of the memory card. This way, the installed software (game) is turned into uninstalled. How about that? Isn't it very simple!? If you're interested, you can go give it a try!
