The Past and Present of Meego
In 2010, Nokia collaborated with Intel to develop the Meego system, and the subsequent generation of iconic device, the N9, became a swan song. Due to slow development, a lack of applications, and the threat of Android, Nokia abandoned this system and switched to the Microsoft WP platform. Later, the Nokia Meego team left Nokia to establish the JOLLA company, continuing to develop the Meego system, thus reviving Meego.
