Posts that are frequently hidden get through, while hidden posts that are annoying get blocked.
I hate hidden posts… After you reply to hidden posts, you just say things like: no content, got scammed. Discouraging hidden posts.\I hate hidden posts and they need to be supported.

No one responds without hiding, there are so many lurkers. If the site owner makes a download that charges membership coins, no one will hide anymore.

It's not about whether it's annoying or not; the setting of hidden posts itself isn't wrong... but it depends on the nature in relation to what the original poster used. You are not annoyed by hidden posts, but by the so-called 'high-level water posts' disguised as such.

Resource post. Hidden posts are definitely appropriate, otherwise good resources can easily get buried.
