Someone University is a very good university, and therefore, its students also like studying very much. The protagonist of the story is one such hardworking boy. He is truly diligent, spending every day buried in the study room on the third floor until late at night when it is quiet.
One day, when it was again late at night, the boy was in the study room writing XYZ and ABC. In the dim hallway, the sound of high heels clicked and clattered. The boy was tense at the moment and did not pay attention. Suddenly, the back door of the study room creaked open, and a clear and beautiful female voice rang out in the classroom, “Could you ask me for a dance?” The boy lifted his head, staring with wide eyes, confused, and looked towards the back door. A beautiful and delicate face, pale and without color, appeared at the doorway. The boy was suddenly interrupted in his thoughts and felt quite annoyed, so he politely declined: “Sorry, it's already very late today, I need to go back and rest. Besides, we should dance in the dance hall. Come to the dance hall on the weekend, and I'll ask only you to dance. Alright, goodbye, I need to go rest now!” Then he packed his books under his arm and went back to sleep.
The next day, the boy was again in that study room studying. At the same moment as yesterday, the girl's voice appeared punctually, “Could you ask me for a dance?” The boy, feeling very angry, said, “Didn't I tell you yesterday? I'll ask you on the weekend in the dance hall!” At this moment, the voice of the building caretaker downstairs rang out: “Student, it's time to leave, we're closing!” So, the boy took his books and went downstairs, greeting the caretaker: “Hello!” The caretaker said: “Student, it's just you, you study way too hard!” The boy replied: “No, there's also a girl!” The caretaker said: “No, I only see you!” The boy thought, that's strange, clearly there was a beautiful girl, how could it be… Could it be… Thinking this, the boy felt his heart skip a beat and hurried back to the dorm to sleep.
On the third night, the boy was scared, so he asked another boy in the dorm to go with him to study, and asked him to call him when leaving.However, the boy had something to do midway and went out alone, forgetting to call her when he left. The boy was studying, and before he knew it, that time came again. When he looked at the time, it was that time again. There was no one around anymore. As he was about to get up and leave, the girl's voice appeared on time again: 'Can you ask me for a dance?' The girl walked into the classroom in a white dress, and the boy danced with her on the podium. Suddenly, a 'knock knock' sound came from the door. It was the old janitor. 'Student, it's so late, why aren't you going home yet? What are you doing?' 'I'm dancing with a girl!' 'A girl? What girl?' 'I was just dancing with her!' the boy muttered to himself. The old janitor asked about the girl's appearance and said, 'The girl you're talking about seems like the one who was hit by a car on the road next to this building two years ago, a very beautiful girl. What a pity!' He looked down and saw his hands covered in blood.
One week later, one night, a scream was heard from the self-study building upstairs. When people went to check, they found that the boy had jumped from upstairs and committed suicide, for unknown reasons!
