A mountain does not need to be high,
It is famous if there is an immortal.
Water does not need to be deep,
It is spiritual if there is a dragon.
This is a humble room,
Only my virtue makes it fragrant.
Moss traces green on the steps,
Grass brings color to the curtains.
Conversations and laughter have great scholars,
No commoners come and go.
One can play the simple zither,
Or read the golden scriptures.
No chaotic music to disturb the ears,
No paperwork to weary the soul.
