I just discovered a trick for Pokémon today, and I want to share it with everyone.

I don't know if this will work for other versions, but anyway, I'm playing the Crystal version, and it's the JAR version of the GBC emulator (you think I didn't want to use others? It's just that this unfortunate phone can only run this kind of emulator, sob sob). This trick is to increase the success rate of catching Pokémon (at least that's how I feel; if you don't believe it, there's nothing I can do). First, your game must have a save state, which is very important. Then! When you're ready to catch a Pokémon, move the cursor to the Poké Ball, and then return to the battle screen. Save the game, and if you fail to catch it, reload the save.

You might say, 'I already know this, you're just wasting my feelings.' But this method works on normal Pokémon, try it with Lugia or Ho-Oh and see. It's definitely unfortunate, of course, unless you're extremely lucky, then forget what I said. My method is like this: first, lower the Pokémon's HP (obviously), then save the game.

Here's the key part: when you throw the ball and the Pokémon is sucked in, the ball is floating. Next, it will fall to the ground and start bouncing. Remember, start counting once the ball hits the ground: one, two, three. On the third bounce, when it reaches the highest point, press the left button (my emulator's menu is on the left button, not sure about yours, and I don't know if the middle pause button works, since I haven't tried it). Then, after about a second, press the return button. The animation will continue at this point. After that, it's all up to luck!

I believe it can increase the success rate because when I tried to catch Lugia before, the Poké Ball always broke free immediately. But with this method, it shakes once or twice before appearing, though sometimes it still fails. At least it gives some psychological comfort.

Phew… typing on the phone is tiring… I hope this method is useful to everyone… hehe.

Thanks for sharing, although I already knew it... but this method is very time-consuming, especially when catching Nokia.
You are my Youleme, so I can drink you up and then crush you.
(Did you intentionally misspell it as Soaring... Nokia...?) The original poster has never played this kind of Pokémon... (Actually, I haven't fully played any of the games myself...) I just want to take this opportunity to ask: Which version of Pokémon should I play on GBA?
Just throw a Master Ball directly over...
