Please help, Civilization V, level 4.
The original poster occupied the cities of both countries but still lost the battle! Please explain!

Is anyone still playing Civilization V? Uh... you can't just capture cities at the start. You should follow the storyline and follow its prompts step by step. Some levels can't be won just by capturing; you need to complete the mission objectives.
It seems that apart from completing tasks, you just shouldn't plunder; if you're strong, you can attack and occupy.
