Bread and Love

Love without bread is meager, and bread without love is bland. Therefore, greedy people hope to have love in their left hand and bread in their right hand, not wanting to lack either. However, in our real life, the two are often unattainable at the same time. So, would you hesitatelessly choose bread? Or would you pursue love with no turning back?

"I would rather cry in a BMW than laugh on a bicycle." Clearly, Marlow chose bread. Of course, those who choose to cry in a BMW wouldn't actually be able to laugh even if they were on a bicycle. This is similar to what many college students say now: "Doing well is not as good as marrying well." They believe that by marrying a rich and powerful husband, they can live without worries about food and clothing. However, once they enter a wealthy family, they find it as deep as the sea; as the saying goes, wealthy families have often bitter wives—this is something they don't yet understand.

Some people also say, "If the whole world abandons you, I would abandon the entire world for you." Are those who choose love really that sincere, that infatuated? When facing the pressures of life and the harsh tests of reality, feelings gradually turn into quarrels. Although money is not omnipotent, without money, nothing is possible. Love is synonymous with romance, yet romance has always been a luxury that requires financial support. Love without bread appears so meager and pathetic. As the saying goes, the economic base determines the superstructure. Can love really last without bread?

There was once a thought to first work hard to make money and then seek love. So they struggled for many years, but a financial crisis left them penniless. Looking back, how many people were missed over the years, how many loves passed by...

The struggle between love and bread is actually a struggle between ideals and reality. People of different ages and mindsets naturally make different choices, but no matter how one chooses, there will be regret. Those who choose love will be troubled and face hardships from a life without bread, while those who choose bread will endure inner pain and torment from a life without love.

When we grow old and step into the twilight years, looking back at the difficult choices we made between bread and love, we might smile wryly. Neither can we take with us in life or death, yet they troubled us our whole lives.Actually, whether choosing love or bread, it is what an individual needs, and there is no right or wrong, as long as you follow your heart and act freely, because living happily is the most important!\By the way, this question is more directed at women, ladies, what do you think?
