After Zheng Qing woke up, he was full of regret. But by then, there was nothing that could be done to undo what had happened. Taking advantage of the hotel manager's inattentiveness, he grabbed Huo Tong, as if carrying a drunken person, and directly took the elevator down to the second-floor parking garage.
He drove the convertible, and the cold wind quickly cleared his mind as if it had been chilled in a refrigerator. Before a bend in the road, he got out of the car, placed Huo Tong in the driver's seat, and used a stone to press down on the convertible's accelerator.
Zheng Qing watched with his own eyes as the convertible fell off the cliff and was swept away by the rolling waves, and he let out a long sigh.
After Zheng Qing awakened, he wiped the sweat off, glanced at Xiaoyu beside him, and then lay down again. Before long, he began the second dream of this rainy night.
Again, in a dim blue setting, he entered a dream. But in this dream, he was not himself; he had become his son, Xiaoyu.
Xiaoyu opened his eyes and saw a purple mist slowly dissipating, with two small pink rabbits squatting in front of him. In his babyish voice, he asked, "Who are you?"
To his surprise, the rabbits could speak. They replied together, "We are Mommy's babies, good babies."
"Then what are you doing here?"
The two little rabbits said in unison, "We want to play with you. Shall we play together?"
Xiaoyu asked, "How do we play?"
"Come, follow us. We're going to play a game—hide and seek."
The two rabbits hopped and bounced in front, while Xiaoyu stumbled along behind. The rabbits climbed onto a desk by the window, where the window glass was widely open.
Xiaoyu climbed onto the desk as well and stood by the window asking, "How do we play? The window is dangerous. Daddy never lets me play here."
The rabbits laughed and said, "Of course you would be scared. We aren't, because we can fly."
Suddenly, two enormous wings sprouted from behind the rabbits, spreading wide and covering the entire window. The flapping wings immediately generated a powerful gust of wind.
"Come on, Xiaoyu, fly with us..." the little rabbits said slowly.
"But I can't fly, I don't have wings..."
Suddenly, a gust of wind appeared behind Xiaoyu. When he turned around, he saw a large rabbit about his size standing behind him, looking at him with loving eyes, just like his mother's gaze. It was the long-haired Siamese rabbit raised by his father. This big rabbit could also talk. It said, 'Go, fly with my child.'
But... I'm scared... I'm afraid... Xiaoyu's words were tinged with sobs.
Afraid of what? The big rabbit's eyes suddenly changed; its eyes were red, almost as if they were about to bleed.
'Go, rush out the window! Your father ate my son, and he even made me eat my own flesh and blood. I will destroy his son too!' The rabbit shouted hysterically, burying its head and biting Xiaoyu's thigh hard.
Xiaoyu cried loudly from the pain, but his father on the bed was sleeping like a dead pig, paying no attention. Seeing the enraged big rabbit, Xiaoyu could only step back toward the window step by step. As soon as he reached the window ledge, he missed a step. He listened to the whistling wind, watched the floors move upward, and screamed loudly, but no sound came out; his throat felt as if it had been grabbed by a hand, very painfully...
Zheng Qing had nightmares all night. He was awakened by a sharp sound of banging on the door.
The sky was already bright. When he got up and looked, he saw a rabbit lying on the bed, the long-haired Siamese rabbit, blinking at him, its red eyes nearly bleeding. His head hurt terribly!
He opened the door and found several police officers. Zheng Qing didn't know what had happened. When the police brought him downstairs, he was shocked to see Xiaoyu's body covered with a white cloth.
Zheng Qing was asked to go to the police station to assist in the investigation. When he left, he insisted on taking another look at Xiaoyu. He pulled back the white cloth and turned over Xiaoyu's body, pulling down his shorts. On Xiaoyu's thighs, there were two very deep bite marks. The forensic doctor standing next to Zheng Qing clenched their teeth and hesitated, saying, 'Strange, these bite marks... how could they look like a rabbit's?'
Zheng Qing smiled bitterly and looked up at his own balcony. On the windowsill, the long-haired Siamese rabbit seemed to be laughing, staring coldly at Zheng Qing. Then it stepped forward and, like a leaf in a gale, fell straight down from the thirteenth floor, landing not far from Xiaoyu.
Zheng Qing felt an excruciating pain in his left chest. The pain was so intense that he couldn't bear it. After a groan, he collapsed to the ground.
The final conclusion by the police was that Zheng Qing had gone insane due to his ex-wife's death. While sleeping, he experienced sleepwalking and threw his son Xiaoyu from the thirteenth floor.New clues were discovered in Zheng Qing's diary: his ex-wife was actually strangled by him in a hotel, the reason being that Huo Tong refused to divorce Jin Liufu and was even pregnant. This was truly an unexpected outcome. In the end, when Zheng Qing saw the body of his son, he was overwhelmed with grief, his heart disease suddenly acted up, and he ultimately died despite rescue efforts. In a way, it could be considered a rather fitting ending.
As for when he was being resuscitated in the hospital, Zheng Qing kept calling out to a Siamese rabbit. Upon investigation, it was found that he did not have a pet rabbit at home, only an empty wire cage. It is estimated that this hallucination was caused by mental stress after he killed his wife.
In short, in the end, no one would go to prison, because the person who should have been imprisoned had already died in the hospital.
On his deathbed, Zheng Qing suddenly remembered something. Seven years ago, when he and Huo Tong were on their honeymoon in Thailand, Huo Tong had taken a liking to a long-haired Siamese rabbit and wanted to bring it home.
Zheng Qing jokingly said, "Don't bring it; rabbits don't live long, and I'm afraid you'll be sad when it dies."
When the topic of death came up, Huo Tong suddenly asked softly, "What if I die first?"
Zheng Qing laughed, "I will definitely continue to live well, and I'll find a woman more beautiful than you to be my wife."
Huo Tong's eyes suddenly dimmed. She pointed at the Siamese rabbit in the wire cage and said, "If I die first, I will surely become a rabbit, just like this Siamese rabbit, to take you and our son with me to the other side."
On the verge of death, Zheng Qing's last action was to tremble uncontrollably all over.
All the features on his face were severely deformed, as if he had seen the most terrifying thing.

Here's a flower first, after reading so many, I still don't understand what this is actually about. Maybe it's because I'm not very sensitive to this kind of article.
