Essence [Clown] Departing for a thousand autumns, where is it like before the wine cup?
The clear wind is biting, a night of flying petals, ten thousand snow peaks under a clear sky; the falling clouds break, the sunset reflects on the mountains, the slanting sun lingers. Frost and dew condense, in the evening haze where can I express my parting sorrow? Fine dust drifts, as geese write their V-shaped letters back, the lone moon fills the western tower. Songs and dances return, flowers flourish and the moon is full, yet people disperse. Through a thousand autumn years, the fragrance of Hunan spreads over ten thousand miles, souls travel to the ends of the earth. Tears are hard to collect, I pour a cup for you, a dream like fleeting glory. Shadows darken as they follow, in the next life I wish to be an idle cloud to meet early. Riding the wind away, the moonlight over the threshold echoes with drunken strings. Wind and clouds are silent, the mountains and rivers before my eyes empty, thoughts far away. The nine provinces stir, tides overturn, the wine cup is lonely and waning. Gentle between fingers, fiery wings stain floating glory with blood. For you, I dim the splendor and abandon gold and jade. Never like before, under flowers and wine, how often did people find joy in the world? Glazed cups, carved flowers pass the throat, tears spontaneously fill my face. Water lute clear, cold dew drips in dreams, words choked before speaking. Farewell feast, from now on we will only look at each other in longing, never in presence. Midnight tide, misty waves lightly float, sea waves chase the blue sky. Beyond the vast sky, the pale autumn moon returns, the promised time feels like a dream. Drunken for home, fleeting life and fame, a thousand cups lightly cast away. Stone as pillow, counting the fallen flowers, carrying wine into the green mountains. Return home, fishermen and woodcutters sing at dusk, the world seems not far. Ten thousand trees of snow, lift your cup with me, laugh and get drunk to the ninth heaven. Heaven and earth stretch, the illusion of the nine provinces, the master is magnificent. Thousand-year exploits, across all lands governing the firmament. Midnight chant, I wish to pour the ocean and share it with you. Ink flames vow, I wish to cover the demon realm, with you alone favored. In the end, the earth ages and heaven crumbles, dragons accompany the flying geese. Clown
