The visuals all look bad to me. 1.8 is the official version. The 9m version is a modification by Russian experts, which expanded the map and seems to have added about 200 star systems, making it easy to get lost.
My Java phone is a Sony Ericsson. Playing the 9M version causes it to crash when entering the lounge. The 2M version is a bit laggy.
