Yesterday, I watched a movie with my senior. During our conversation, I was showing off to her that I got paid on the forum, and she scoffed. Half-joking, half-sarcastic, she said, "Some people get addicted to these things in just one day, and the melon likes it." I know she's saying I'm addicted to the internet and illusions, and that's actually a big obstacle between us. She wants me to get more exposure to life, learn some things I should know before turning twenty, and be more mature and steady. Then, when it comes to talking to her, she's a good girl, a good sister. She truly cares about me, so I didn't force her to be with me. I knew this was the happy choice. I wasn't ready to cut off the internet. When I was lonely or bored, I picked up my phone, logged into 7 forums, posted a few when I was in a good mood, and a few when I was down. This has become a habit of my life. I admit I'm greedy—I love my senior, but I don't want to make the decision to cut off the internet for her. Maybe in the future I'll understand and change, but for now, I'll stay at 7Forum. Keep going, for the future.
