How to use the cheat device in the 'Help' Android GBA emulator?

A large part of the cheat codes cannot be used! But I know the cheat codes for Dark Phantom and Fire Red!! Some say you need to download a password converter to convert the hexadecimal passwords!
You need to look for cheat codes that don't have a colon to take effect; codes with a colon are for computer emulator cheat codes… or use a converter on the computer.
