Long live being single!!!!

I once naively thought that if you treat others sincerely, you could gain true friendship and true love. Later, after meeting some people and experiencing certain things, I realized that everything was just what I thought. I am grateful for everyone who appeared in my life; you have taught me to grow. Friendship—what a warm pair of words—but there is so much truth and falsity behind them. Someone stabs me in the back, then comes to wipe my blood and dress my wound. What I want is simple—no scheming, no betrayal, just that. Someone hurts you, and you forgive them. Someone betrays you, and you want to make it right. Someone doesn't love you, and you try to please them. Why humiliate yourself for love? If someone truly loves you, they will never treat you hot and cold. If someone truly wants to pursue you, they will never play ambiguous games with you. No kind of love requires you to give up your dignity or demean yourself. Rather than having a humble or degrading relationship, it is better to choose to stay single.
