Panda tea refers to tea grown in the panda ecological tea mountains of Dingfeng Village, Ya'an, Sichuan, using panda feces for cultivation. Anshi, an environmental Chinese calligraphy and painting artist and a professor at Sichuan University, obtained a 'copyright' issued by the Sichuan Provincial Copyright Bureau for an article titled 'Cultivating Tea with Panda Feces.' Panda tea is priced at 219,865 yuan per jin, with premium quality at 21,860 yuan per liang. On March 27, 2012, founder Anshi stated that he would apply for the Guinness World Record for the world's most expensive tea with panda tea.
