Navigation can be completed through automatic routing at the port, allowing players who are unfamiliar with geography to still enjoy the game. Background Story: Since the 15th century, with the discovery of the New World and the completion of global voyages, more and more Portuguese and Spanish adventurers began exploring the world. Whenever they returned home with spoils from around the world, it would cause a sensation throughout the city. Sailing a ship was nearly every young person's dream. Pieno was such a young man. Pieno lost his parents at a young age but had many good friends, especially Teddy and Cecilia. Cecilia worked as a barmaid in a bar in Lisbon, and Teddy and Pieno worked together at the Lisbon docks. Although they came from poor backgrounds, the three young people were very optimistic. After finishing a day's work, their happiest moment was sitting on the docks watching the sunset slowly sink into the sea, hoping that one day they could sail the world on their own ship. Pieno firmly believed that his dream would one day come true. To prepare for that day, he often pestered some old sailors to learn how to sail and to inquire about customs from around the world. One day, while Pieno and Teddy were gazing at the sea from the coastline for the thousand and first time, a dock worker ran over to bring Pieno some good news. The king, in order to develop the maritime industry, had established a large navigation fund. Anyone interested in sailing would be funded with a ship by the king, as long as they accepted a series of tasks from the king. Completing the tasks would not only bring promotion and rewards, but the king would also promise his daughter in marriage to the most outstanding navigator. Pieno immediately pulled Teddy and ran toward the palace. The recruitment office at the palace entrance was already crowded with people, mostly wealthy youths dressed elegantly. Pieno squeezed forward to sign up but was met with ridicule from the recruitment official. The officials insisted on driving them away, and while a standoff ensued, a young man appeared, stopped the officials, and helped Pieno register. This person was none other than Young Master Grus, the Prime Minister's son. Although he helped Pieno, his only purpose was to have more people to play this game with him. Teddy was very angry, but Pieno did not care. After finally obtaining a ship of his own, though small and broken, Pieno had great confidence in himself and his first mate—Teddy. Pieno's dockworker friends volunteered to help repair the ship, and Pieno and Teddy took this opportunity to say goodbye to Cecilia and their other friends. At the trading post, shipyard, and academy, Pieno learned navigation, commerce, exploration, and other knowledge. Finally, they arrived at a bar, where Cecilia was already waiting for them. Although she knew that if Pieno succeeded in this adventure, he would marry the princess, the heartbroken Cecilia still took out all her savings, 1,000 gold coins, and lent them to Pieno. Pieno used this money to hire sailors and, piloting the repaired Unicorn, set off for the Mediterranean and North Seas to complete their first task: earning 10 gold bars. Pieno and Teddy shuttled between various ports in the Mediterranean and North Seas, first exploring several villages in southern England and the eastern Mediterranean and reporting their findings to the Lisbon Adventurers' Guild, which surprisingly yielded a generous reward. With this money, they could purchase several small ships to run trade fleets. Soon the funds accumulated to 10 gold bars, and they upgraded to a bigger ship, gaining extensive navigation and naval combat experience. When Pieno returned to Lisbon, he found himself the last participant to come back; the other wealthy heirs, relying on their family influence, had already set out for Central and Southern Africa to find the 'Kingdom of John the Cleric'—the second task of the competition. Pieno was not discouraged; he firmly believed that with his faith and effort, he could defeat those arrogant noble sons. Of course, before starting the second task, he first had to go to the bar to find Cecilia and return the 1,000 gold coins he had borrowed from her.Cecilia didn't want the gold coins; she requested that Pieno promise her a favor in the future and told them that there were many indigenous villages inland in Africa, where they might discover clues about the 'Kingdom of John.' Sailing south along the west coast of the African continent, Pieno and his party did business while gathering information, eventually reaching Saint George, the largest port in western Africa. At a bar, they heard that there were clues about the 'Kingdom of John' on the island of São Tomé, south of Saint George. Pieno hurried to São Tomé Island, only to be kidnapped by the pirate gang 'Red Moon Society' at a bar. Even more unexpectedly, the chancellor's son, Master Gruis, discovered the Red Moon Society's plot and rescued all the kidnapped people. Pieno was very grateful to Gruis and promised to repay him in the future, but Gruis, of course, did not care at all. Pieno decided to follow Cecilia's hint, navigating along the rivers upstream to investigate the surrounding indigenous villages. Unfortunately, after searching along the banks of the Congo and Niger Rivers, they found nothing, and had to bypass the southern tip of Africa to continue their exploration in East Africa. After rounding the Cape of Good Hope, the southernmost point of the African continent, the fleet entered East African waters, where Pieno and his team discovered a slave ship, engaged it in battle, and successfully rescued the slaves on board. In return, the freed indigenous chief gave Pieno a stone tablet, claiming it was the key to the Kingdom of John. Pieno was skeptical, because no one could recognize the tablet's purpose, so they returned to Lisbon and asked Professor Ryan from the academy to identify it. Professor Ryan believed that the cracks on the tablet represented the three tributaries of the upper Nile River, and the place in the center inlaid with gemstones marked the 'Kingdom of John.' Overjoyed, Pieno immediately sailed to the port of 'Alexandria,' at the southeastern end of the Mediterranean, upstream from the Nile River's entrance, and finally found a small village. In the village, Pieno discovered that the chief was in fact the old man who had given them the stone tablet previously. However, the old man's words poured cold water on Pieno's hopes: the 'Kingdom of John' had long been destroyed by Islamic forces. The chief and the remaining survivors had never abandoned their plans to restore the kingdom, but could only live in hiding, waiting for the right opportunity. He handed Pieno a royal scepter, saying it was a symbol of the Kingdom of Priest John; when campaigning against the Ottoman Empire, this scepter could summon all scattered survivors to come and assist. Pieno returned to Lisbon with the royal scepter to report back. Due to his outstanding performance in the first two missions, he was granted the title of Baron. The King of Portugal initially wanted to rely on the 'Kingdom of John' to resist the Ottoman Empire, but now he had no choice but to unite with the Christian nations of Europe. To accumulate enough wealth, the king ordered Pieno to explore the New World, eliminate the 'Red Moon Society,' and search for the legendary Golden City. The princess also summoned Pieno to assign him a secret mission — to inquire about the leader of the 'Red Moon Society.' After chatting with Cecilia at the bar, he headed to Veracruz in the New World. At the Lisbon dock, he met the princess's maid and received a pendant given by the princess. Passing through the Canaries' 'Las Palmas,' he crossed the Atlantic westward and arrived at Veracruz. After some effort, he finally raised the trade level to 3500, but learned through trading in Veracruz that commerce was severely hindered due to pirate interference. On the way to subdue the pirates, he encountered the 'Red Moon Society,' and after a fierce battle won the victory and rescued an indigenous little girl. Pieno decided to go to the South American mainland to explore the Golden City while also seeking the little girl's hometown. Sailing southeast along the South American coast, he found the entrance to the Amazon River and traveled inland along the river, where the little girl discovered her village. To thank Pieno, the chief gave them a large amount of golden ornaments, as it turned out that there was a lake near the village containing abundant golden treasures. At the lake, Pieno also met the leader of the 'Red Moon Society,' the female pirate Filina, and they also discovered the legendary Golden City. Pieno went to the Red Moon Society's hideout in Havana and, together with another Portuguese fleet, defeated the 'Red Moon Society,' but Filina escaped. Pieno was puzzled by Filina's reaction upon seeing the pendant he wore, thinking she had some connection to the princess, while Teddy remained deeply preoccupied with Filina. After eliminating the pirate threat, he returned to Veracruz to further improve his trade level before returning to Lisbon to report back.Pieno was granted the title of viscount and once again had an audience with the princess. When the princess learned that Filina had escaped, she breathed a sigh of relief and asked Pieno not to harm her, and also requested Pieno to pass a message to Filina to contact her. At this time, the Ottoman Empire officially declared war on the Christian alliance. In the Mediterranean battlefield, the royal navies of the allied countries fought together. Pieno and his group were tasked with going to the Indian Ocean to defeat the Ottoman-affiliated Arab fleet and secure the route to the Spice Islands. Going to the bar and chatting with Cecilia, they learned that the commander of the Arab fleet in the Indian Ocean was an extraordinarily intelligent Persian prince — Prince Wood. Arriving at the port of 'Goa' in the Indian Ocean, after meeting the governor, they gathered information about Prince Wood at the bar. Grus insisted on destroying the Arab fleet's naval base at Hormuz, located at the entrance of the Persian Gulf. Pieno worried that the enemy had already taken precautions, but could only set off with the team. The Portuguese fleet was surrounded by the Arab fleet and suffered a crushing defeat; Grus's flagship was also hit, and in Pieno...
