[BUG]: I personally discovered a BUG while playing "Dream Sailing Home," which allows any ship to be modified to a speed of 12/7. No matter what type of ship it is, as long as you go to the shipyard to upgrade the ship, you can modify the speed. Generally, there is a speed limit in modifications. In the presets, there is a default setting: Exploration, Commerce, Naval Battle. At the start, you can directly adjust the speed to the maximum possible. Once your speed reaches a certain point, the turning reaches the minimum and cannot be increased further. You just need to switch the preset to increase the speed again; however, there is an upper limit. When the shipyard's industrial level is at maximum, you can set the speed to 127; previously it could only reach 126. Going beyond that will cause a freeze. 126 is already effectively the fastest. Once you reach 126, if your preset is set to Naval Battle, simply switch it to Default, and the turning will be full again, so you don't have to worry about too low turning during battle. You generally only need to switch back and forth between Naval Battle and Default. No modification cost is required.
BUG 2: The "Purchase Goods" task returns the payment, not based on the actual amount of goods required, but on the total value of all such goods on the ship! For example, if you are required to buy 10 storage units of almonds but deliver 50 units to complete the task, you will receive payment for 50 units while only losing 10 units! You essentially get the money for 40 units for free.
[Experience:] Early on, after completing the first exploration task, on June 1st, you can take the "Purchase Task D: Buy 10 units of Almonds" at the London guild, with a reward of 7200 upon completion (if the cargo hold is insufficient, convert the purchase from 6200 of the first task into the ship) (almonds are available in Lisbon). Then, on July 15th, the Serbian guild offers "Purchase Task D: Buy Armor." Afterwards, local purchases allow you to repeat the task after completing it. Each task rewards over 2000 and returns the payment!! You can continuously use all the armor to complete the task, earning a lot of money (remember to take advantage of BUG 2). On July 30th, the guild offers "Purchase Task D: Buy Muskets," which doesn't need further explanation.
At the beginning, you can only make money through trade; you can't win naval battles, and discovering items is even more unprofitable. In ports like Algiers, Valencia, Marseille, Genoa, Naples, you can resell valuable items, invest while saving money to upgrade to larger merchant ships, and gradually accumulate wealth; there's no need to rush. The purchase amount of goods and the guild reward after completing the task has one-eight-thousandth converted into commerce experience.If you want to lower the price\ and keep it low, invest in them.\ Once your fame reaches about 80%,\ you can be like the boss.\ They will compete to lower the prices for you when selling things.Goods and Skills of Various Cities
