New Film Navigation: Live-action 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' casts 4 main characters, produced by Michael Bay, to be released next year

Mtime.com reports that the live-action version of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" has already selected its four main characters. First, actor Alan Ritchson, who has appeared in films and TV shows such as "Smallville," "Cheerleader Camp," "Blue Mountain State," and "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," has been confirmed to play Raphael. Today, foreign media reported that actors Pete Ploszek ("Parks and Recreation," "Shameless"), Noel Fisher ("Hemlock Grove," "Gangster Squad," "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2"), and Jeremy Howard ("Breaking Bad," "The ‘Burbs," "Grey's Anatomy") have joined the cast, playing Leonardo, Donatello, and Michelangelo, respectively.\

These four main actors have mostly appeared in TV shows and have also had minor roles in some movies. Additionally, sexy actress Megan Fox has been confirmed to play the female lead April O'Neil. The producers will next work on casting the roles of the Turtles' mentor Splinter and villain Shredder.\
The four turtles will be depicted using motion capture and CGI animation, similar to the apes in "Rise of the Planet of the Apes."\

According to previously released official information, this live-action reboot of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" will be "a reimagining based on the comics and cartoons." The production team is complete, with Michael Bay serving as executive producer alongside partners Brad Fuller and Andrew Form; the script is written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, who rose to fame with "Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol"; and the director is Jonathan Liebesman, known for "Battle: Los Angeles," who emphasized, "‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' is not only an action film but will also focus on brotherhood, friendship, and responsibility."\

Since its debut in 1984, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" has been loved by audiences worldwide, with previous animated and live-action films already produced. This Paramount live-action "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie is just the beginning, as they will also produce a new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" animated TV series, video games, and a series of media products.
