How long has it been since I properly sat down to record some feelings in a diary? It's been about half a year, right? Thinking of the diary I once kept, I haven't opened it for a long time. Some thoughts are too difficult to touch. Some things, once yesterday passes, become memories forever. People need to let go. It's time to turn the past into ashes. Some memories will thus be erased.
Those innocent handwriting and powerless words cannot accompany a lifetime, even if I always carry them with me. The weight of memories makes it difficult for me to move forward. What is there left to hold on to now?? What is worth lingering on? What things are truly eternal and unchanging? Perhaps there is no answer.
When the flowers fall, it is all just a dream. Walking along a road filled with blooming Bauhinia flowers in the morning, the petals gently fall, covering the path and the tops of cars. The air carries a faint fragrance, and you can imagine that beautiful scene. Passersby hurry by. If life were not so full of helplessness, why must people live so tiredly??
We are no longer children. It's funny, really; all along I have never considered myself an adult. My heart always pessimistically refuses to grow up. Yet time does not forget and continues to carry me forward. Through storms and trials for so many years. From that first person who told me to learn to be strong alone to now, I have had to be strong on my own. There is no need to describe the bitterness; there are many like me in the world, and I am only walking the same path as everyone else. One can let go of the departure of loved ones, so what are these hardships in comparison?
I react too much to the mundane. After eating chili for a few days, I finally felt pain. I am still living strongly. Such pain can make me more aware. Remember what the current situation is. Remember what should be remembered. And let the fleeting clouds go with the wind. One must live with dignity. Even if covered in scars, one must still smile like a flower in front of others...
