In everyone's heart, there is a jianghu, carrying the light and shadow of knives and swords, rushing back and forth, and amidst the smoke of battle, enacting kings and losers—but no one cares. Right and wrong, honor and disgrace, vanish in an instant. Behind the calm and gentle years, the life understood is, in fact, lonely.
Yet people dive in without hesitation, all claiming they are not masters of their own fate, all because people live in the jianghu. In the course of life, one cannot or will not stop chasing.
Everyone has a jianghu in their heart that they yearn for—fragmented or complete. The paths walked segment by segment are also segments of life, accumulating either richness or emptiness.
At one time, I was my own jianghu—lost and closed off. At such an immature age, with a youth so spirited it had nowhere to rest, arrogant and domineering, refusing to bow or yield, simply because I could not endure, I chose to give up opportunities everyone envied, faced life's hardships alone for the sake of so-called pride, stumbling along the way. Only I understood and bore the hardship of each step, tasting bitterness to the fullest, receiving much criticism, yet never daring to stop pursuing. At that time, life was lonely to its deepest core, stubbornly believing that no success was worth exchanging for deliberate harm and unfair treatment. For a long period, days were unhappy. Life then was an extremely lonely stage, refusing all spectators; in the deep night, the heart danced alone.
Year after year, flowers remain similar, but people change. Experience and pain gradually erase the immaturity of youth, granting the strength of calmness and responsibility. Thus, one can quietly pause, and when the wind rises or leaves fall, with a sensitive heart, know gratitude, remember, let go, and forgive. Love and stay with those who can be loved, cherish all friends who care and value you, face all slander, hurt, and rumors with serene indifference. Elegance may fade, yet one gains a more composed posture to traverse life's unknown journey.
What kind of jianghu is yours? Behind the wind and waves, is there an unknown loneliness?Knowing your Jianghu means you are destined to experience and face more hardships. Because of the strongest longing in your heart, you give more effort than others, step by step through the years. Yet the difficulties along the way can only be tasted alone. Jianghu is a trap planted in a previous life, irresistible, on the brink of being said but left unsaid. You invest the full strength of your life to exchange for the success you most hope for in your heart. Therefore, such a life is destined to be exposed and sharp.
Thus, life can have the pain of being burned, and in the gradually unreachable distance, uncertainty and blindness slowly arise.
In everyone's heart, love is always a piece of Jianghu that cannot be let go. When a person puts down their own Jianghu to stay for someone, will that person put down their own Jianghu and slow down their relentless pursuit?
My Jianghu, your Jianghu, amid the bustling mortal world, may be strangers or on different paths. Many years later, with neither my Jianghu nor your Jianghu, when flowers bloom or wither, smiling and watching time pass by, whose Jianghu is ultimately achieved?
