The secretary of a township Discipline Inspection Commission in Hunan browsed pornographic websites and ran away with his computer after being discovered.
According to a report by CCTV News on April 11, Hunan and Hubei disciplinary inspection departments conducted secret inspections on the work conduct of officials. During this, Yang, the secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Matouling Township in Chenzhou, was caught browsing pornographic websites at work and then ran away carrying his computer. He was removed from all his positions.
The report stated that on March 1 of this year, undercover inspectors saw a staff member browsing inappropriate websites at the Matouling Township Government in Chenzhou.
The inspectors asked, 'What are you looking at?'
The staff member replied, 'Nothing in particular.'
The inspectors said, 'Open that and show us, open that and show us.'
When the inspectors requested to check his computer's browsing history, the staff member immediately grabbed his computer and ran out, hiding in a nearby building and never returning to the office.
After investigation, this staff member was identified as Yang, the secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Matouling Township Government, and he was eventually removed from all his positions.
