What are you having for dinner? Rookie posting
MD! Although we are in a different zone! The meals are surprisingly poor!\We eat potatoes all day long, and this morning, finally, it seemed different, I thought it was a scallion pancake! I even posted online to inform everyone, and now I finally find out, it was actually dumplings. Can you imagine how infuriating that is!\Although potatoes were considered a food for the rich decades ago, times have changed! Now potatoes are considered just a staple grain.\Our military district cafeteria is truly a miracle, eating in one meal what others consume in a year; after meals, combined leftovers from several cafeterias barely make one bowl; food scraps go into the next pot, and the dishes never change (only about a dozen kinds)!\This has become quite common, really don't know why! All year round, regardless of season or weather, radishes and potatoes are inevitable!\Anyone have time to go check the local military district! (Especially those in Beijing, the ones with the best equipment and meals, their buns are even bigger than ours by a bit!)
