Baidu Profile: \fripSide (Japanese: フリップサイド) is a music group from Japan. Its predecessor was fripSide NAO project! (Japanese: フリップサイド なおプロジェクト). The musical spirit—fripSide initially emerged as an online phenomenon in 2002. That year, the then-unknown fripSide became a hot topic on the internet thanks to a song called 'come to mind.' At that time, the members, who purely approached it with a gamer's attitude towards life, never imagined such a strong reaction. Therefore, they struck while the iron was hot, expanded the team, and transformed into a multi-member group, becoming a strange combination of singers, bands, and producers.\ Introduction: \The lead singer is nao, who was only 17 years old at the time and is now 27 (born in 1985). Although she is quite young, her musical expressiveness is truly astonishing, with a vocal explosiveness comparable to the roar of an engine. She also contributes to the lyrics writing. The main keyboardist and guitarist Satoshi Yaginuma, with his highly individual creative approach, fills fripSide's music with multi-member elements, mixing, sound synthesis, and their drummer (masa). Satoshi Yaginuma, mainly responsible for sound creation, expresses Sat and Nao's music in various forms very skillfully, demonstrating extraordinary talent. In addition, there are many other musicians (guitar, bass, drummer, lyricists) who together form the current fripSide!\On its official website, fripSide offers partial song downloads, PV previews, etc. Additionally, in 2007 they shared recent updates, life, music, and more on a web radio program.\Their main activity area is Akihabara, where their PVs and CD ads are displayed on a TV on the exterior wall of a certain building.\On March 15, 2009, fripSide announced on their homepage that lead singer Nao had left the group (official text: 'I, Nao, have graduated from fripSide.'). At that time, fripSide was essentially on hiatus. Nao stated that she would continue her musical journey under the new identity 'Nao.'\Although lead singer Nao left, fripSide's activities continued with the addition of new lead singer Yoshino Nanjo. Yoshino Nanjo's high notes are Nao-like, though not quite the same as Nao. What is rather surprising is Yoshino Nanjo's voice; it was originally relatively gentle, but now her high notes soar, and in sections emphasizing instrument high frequencies, the vocals can still be clearly heard.fripSide once performed the theme songs for the first season of the anime "A Certain Scientific Railgun" including "only my railgun" and "LEVEL5-judgelight-", the OVA theme song "future gazer", and the game version theme song "way to answer". Especially "only my railgun", as a popular anime song, it remains a hit in Japanese karaoke to this day. The powerful rhythm of "only my railgun" and the soaring and falling vocals of lead singer Yoshino Nanjo have impressed many people.
