The popular anime series "Lupin the Third" and "Detective Conan" will collaborate to release a theatrical film titled "Lupin the Third VS Detective Conan THE MOVIE," scheduled to premiere in December. The official website has now released two different promotional videos, one from the perspective of Lupin the Third and the other from the perspective of Conan.\
Additionally, the 17th theatrical film of "Detective Conan," titled "Private Eye in the Distant Sea," which will premiere on April 20, will also include the Conan version of this promotional video, while the Lupin the Third version will be broadcast on television as a TV commercial.\
In 2009, to commemorate the 55th anniversary of Nippon TV and the 50th anniversary of Yomiuri TV, the two nationally beloved anime series "Lupin the Third" and "Detective Conan" competed together in a TV special titled "Lupin the Third VS Detective Conan." Now, as Nippon TV and Yomiuri TV approach their 60th and 55th anniversaries respectively, it has been decided to produce a completely new theatrical film, "Lupin the Third VS Detective Conan."\
According to "Detective Conan" creator Gosho Aoyama, the previous TV special gave the feeling of Conan entering Lupin's world, whereas this time it will feel like Lupin entering Conan's world.
