Two Jokes
Ayue wanted to cook, so she asked her mother, who was playing mahjong, how much rice to wash. Her mother didn't hear her and, while discarding a tile, said, 'Nine Circles.' As a result, that pot of rice lasted their family a whole week.\ Another Christmas, Tom wanted a computer. His mother told him that if he asked God and did many good deeds, God would grant his wish. Little Tom began writing a letter: 'Dear God, I am your most adorable Tom. This year I have done many good deeds, and I hope you can give me a computer.' After finishing, he felt it was somewhat insincere, so he wrote another letter: 'God! This year I have done a few bad things, but I know I was wrong. I hope you can give me a computer.' Tom still felt it wasn't right, and he wrote: 'God, it's me, Tom. I did indeed do many bad things, but I still hope you will give me a computer.' When Tom arrived at the church, he wrote a fourth letter, then hugged a statue of the Virgin Mary and went home. On the letter he wrote: 'Jesus, your mother is in my hands. If you want to see her, give me a computer. You know who I am!'
