I am currently attending a technical school and have been here for 4 or 5 days. The first day was mainly for registration and things like getting the school uniform. On the second day, military training started, which lasts for a week, then we have two days off before school starts. This is how our school is, I don't know if the school you will attend is the same as mine.
It depends on what skill you are learning. I am learning hairdressing, and I found a house outside, which is pretty free.
You don't even need to carry a school bag, usually just leave it on the desk. When I was studying, we had a week of military training before classes started. At the beginning, we hadn't been divided into classes yet, so we just randomly found a dorm to stay in. Only after classes were divided did we live with classmates. Generally, the first day is the opening ceremony, nothing much to prepare. Just follow how you did things when you were studying before, technical schools are pretty free!!!
