If you want to achieve faster speed (note that speed and FPS are two different concepts in PPSSPP), you can follow these steps:

1. Enable "Frameskipping" and set it to "Auto" or 1, 2, 3 (odd numbers work best, even numbers (2, 4, 6) may cause screen flickering. Actual results vary, and performance improvements are mainly noticeable on mobile devices. This depends on the game's internal frame rate: 60 FPS games work best with odd numbers, 30 FPS games work best with even numbers, but if "Non Buffered Rendering mode" is enabled, the situation is reversed).
(If you're unsure, it's best to select "Auto", which allows the emulator to skip quite a few frames to reach full speed.)

Also, if you want to check the current FPS, you can enable the "FPS counter" under the Overlay Information tab in the Graphics menu.

2. Set the Rendering Mode to "Non Buffered Rendering" (some puzzle games use it, but most games run fine without it, and it can provide a slight speed boost), or you can:

Ensure that the Rendering Mode is set to "Buffered Rendering" rather than "Read Framebuffers to Memory (CPU) OR (GPU)" (these two options are speed killers! Only a few games need them, like Danganronpa)
(Regarding the difference when enabling Buffered Rendering, one of the developers, [Unknown], has a better explanation on GitHub: https://github.com/hrydgard/pp)

4. Make sure "Anti Aliasing" (a speed killer!) or any form of "Texture Scaling" (speed killer and may cause issues on low-end devices!) in the Graphics menu is turned off. That said, "Anisotropic Texture Filtering" is quite negligible for today's computers.

5. Ensure that "Hardware Transform" (can significantly speed up performance!) and "Vertex Cache" are enabled.(They are enabled by default, but for a very few games, turning them off might be better; it varies from person to person.) 6. Set 'Rendering Resolution' to 1x or 2x before playing the game (for new Windows versions). 7. Use the 'Change CPU Clock' option in the 'System Settings' menu to set it lower (default is: -222MHz), for example 111MHz or even 60-80 MHz. Some people have reported that this setting can help achieve faster game speed on lower-end Android devices~ (Note: If set too low, there may be unpredictable errors such as 'full-screen jagged edges', 'speed going fast and slow', 'flashy sparkling effects', etc., so experiment carefully). This is essentially a trade-off for speed enhancement: lowering the frequency or lowering the frame rate—find your balance. 8. When playing PPSSPP, try to close background programs on your device as much as possible. (Unless you insist on running antivirus or something for PPSSPP = =|||) 9. Update your drivers (though some forum users reported that the latest AMD drivers conflict with PPSSPP, so it's better not to...). 10. Also, make sure the emulator has 'Dynamic Recompiler JIT (Dynarec)' enabled (most devices will see a speed boost!) 11. Enable 'Fast Memory' (a small number of X86 users and most Android users see speed improvements. Since it's still unstable, if your game crashes because of this, just turn it off immediately). 12. Turn off 'Atrac3+ audio decoder' (can slightly speed up Android, but you may not hear most game BGM or voice).Only close it when you are desperate for speed) 13. Turn off 'Vertical Sync (Vsync)' (screen tearing may occur, but speed boosts are obvious) (for Windows; newer versions of Android have it enabled by default) (Since Windows version v0.9.1-76-g955ad2, vertical sync has been restored and works properly in both windowed and full-screen modes, thanks Henrik) 14. *New*: Please turn off 'Enable Debug Logging' (this option is in the 'Developer Tools' tab in the System Settings menu) (few players may gain speed improvements, but excessive junk logs can affect performance, e.g., Monster Hunter 3rd HD (+35%), other Monster Hunter games (+10%). Developers do not guarantee that turning off this option won't generate log files unless it is enabled) 15. Turn on 'Force 60 FPS or less' (this is on the third page of the 'Graphics Settings' menu; this can noticeably improve performance for most games like God of War, but some games may lose some fun, so after finishing God of War, turn it off~) 16. Turn on 'CPU Multithreaded (MT)' — that's it! With this mature feature, PPSSPP can use more of your CPU cores, and game performance improves in various ways (at least significantly faster), but this feature is not fully tested yet, so some games may not like it, and you can turn it off later. Possible side effects of enabling MT include: a. some games may occasionally flash black b. some games may experience frame drops, causing lag, which is being addressed c. some games may crash, especially when frame rates are not limited, which is also being worked on.

You can set the key layout.
Thank you for working so hard to provide us with resources! Lord Corn~~
Corn........
What should I do about the audio stuttering?
The phone's configuration is insufficient.
..I'm playing Dynasty Warriors 5 on PSP, it keeps lagging, is my configuration not enough..
May I ask where I can download PSP games on LOUZHU? If possible, leave me a message.
