All religions have the same origin, and all sages are differentiated by the inaction. Whether it is Christ or Buddha, their original intention is not for others to worship them. Who knows that the first Buddhists did not worship Buddha?
"God" is just a code name, and "religion" is just a code name. It means nothing. However, many people are obsessed with it, abandoning the basic and chasing the weak.
