Moonbot Studio, which has launched well-known animated books and won the Oscar for Best Animation "The Magic Flying Book of Mr. Maurice Lesser", recently produced this animated short film for Dolby Studio. It kicks off the movie with a fantasy and humorous plot and will be screened at the Oscars.
In the animation, Mr. Lessmore and a little girl from "The Magic Flying Book of Mr. Morris Lessmore" transform into silent film projectionists and sound effects engineers, leading the audience through film history. This short two and a half minutes pays tribute to classic film makers such as "Metropolis", "The General", "Last Safety", "King Kong", and Chaplin. When characters jump into the screen and the background changes constantly, there will be many sudden situations. It can be said to be a tribute to "Sherlock Holmes II" by the "stolen comedian" silent film director Buster Keaton.
