Tool: MiniCommander (MC)
First, you need to transfer the software or game you want to extract to the 'Favorites' or 'Games' folder on your phone (not the memory card, but the device itself).
Next, go to Settings - Sync and Backup - Create Backup - Continue - check the box in front of the apps and games - press 'Done' - then it will prompt that it has been saved to the memory card.
Then, open MC - find the backup file (backup000.NBF) - select it with the cursor - hold the '6' key for 1 second and release - change the extension to: backup000.zip.
After changing it, click to enter - find predefjava, and click to enter, you will see predefgames (games) / predefcollections (favorites) - click to enter, then you will see xx.jar (the red one, the rest can be ignored).
Select this xx.jar with the cursor, hold the '6' key for 1 second and release, change xx.jar to xx_jar (as long as it is not suffix '.xx'), then press 'OK' (Note: after pressing 'OK', there will be a short pause, don't worry). After the page shifts, select xx_jar with the cursor, press the '5' key - it will prompt to extract 1 file to /E:/, then press OK (left soft key)!
Meanwhile, a file you extracted will appear in the root directory of the memory card!
This way you turn installed (.jar) software (games) into uninstalled (_jar), how about that? Pretty simple, right?!

[Tutorial] Restore .jar to _jar in S40

Super awesome! Although it took me nearly half an hour to learn this little technique (actual operation only takes a few minutes), I'm quite happy. It allows you to restore installed games to an uninstalled state, so you can use Bluetooth, modify, upload, and so on. Lots of benefits, simple and easy, only need one MC (I used MT). For S40, this is really incredibly useful!!
The original poster didn't switch to an Android phone? @_@
No, I'll change it after the college entrance exam.
Uh, S60 enable permissions + XPLORE..
Permissions are the most annoying thing, but once jailbroken, the sky for S60 becomes blue. I pursue solutions purely on the mobile side even more.
Top!!
Absolutely not needed for 60s. But still helping to support......
