Introduction: "Up" is the tenth animated film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and the first 3D movie, directed by Pete Docter. The film was officially released in the United States on May 29, 2009. \ It tells the story of an elderly man who had once made a promise with his late wife to travel to a waterfall located in distant South America, but due to life's busy pace, they never managed to go. Only when the government intended to demolish his old house did he decide to take the house and fly towards the waterfall, along the way having adventures with the little chubby boy Russell whom he befriends. \ Reflection: In the beginning of "Up," the love story between a boy and a girl from childhood to adulthood is deeply touching. Some easily moved people are already deeply touched after the first part of the movie. It can be said that the beginning part serves as a small climax and reveals the movie's final boss, the explorer Muntz! However, the theme of "Up" is not centered on being moving or sad. Rather, the focus is on the elderly Carl protecting his house and fulfilling the journey with the house and the wishes of his deceased wife. After experiencing many unexpected events, the little boy Russell brings much joy and laughter to Carl's journey. \ The movie includes some magical elements, such as the talking "dog squad," whose leader dog, Dug, unexpectedly completes his secret mission out of jealousy. They also encounter the elderly man and his group. \ (Later, many other dogs appear, all connected to Muntz). In the jungle, Carl and Russell meet a new friend—a colorful large bird with a long red beak (the new species discovered by explorer Muntz). This bird is really big and likes to eat chocolate, and Russell names it Kevin. The bird likes Russell a lot but doesn't like Carl much. \ Afterwards, the grandfather and the boy are taken to an airship, and they discover that the owner of this airship is actually the explorer Charles Muntz, whose goal is to capture the large bird to prove himself. \ Upon realizing that Muntz would stop at nothing to achieve his goal, Carl escapes with Russell under Kevin's guidance. But Muntz releases planes from the airship to interfere with the flying house... \ After a struggle, both Muntz and the flying house fall from the clouds. After the grandfather and grandson, along with the big dog, bid farewell to the big bird, they piloted Montz's airship back to the city. Little Luo also received a badge rewarded by Carl. The three of them became inseparable good friends, living a happy, joyful, and leisurely life (just as Little Luo described when talking with Carl about his family situation). Their flying house eventually floated down alone with the balloon to the fairy-tale waterfalls at the 'Flat Top Mountains' (while Montz's whereabouts became unknown), fulfilling the lifelong dreams of Ellie and Carl.\ I recommend everyone watch "Up".
