Why are all my gold coins gone?

I suddenly found that I dropped from level 8 to level 3, lost all my gold coins, with only over 100,000 left. But it seems most of it has turned into some kind of gold diamond coins, leaving only 100,000 for me. Clicking on that gold diamond coin doesn't do anything. What is this for? I just realized this after being back for a few days, - -!!
