I have changed many phones, and every phone needs to be rooted. My classmates also have rooted phones, but the success rate is not high. Rooting a phone by yourself, for example by downloading Baidu root or Z4 root, is very tedious because it involves dealing with deceptive software and the frustration of failed rooting. Actually, if you want a faster way to root, a good method is to use a computer at an internet cafe. I personally recommend the PC version of Tencent Mobile Manager, otherwise other methods are too troublesome.
