From 9 a.m. on June 21 to 5 p.m. on June 22, 32 hours—for ordinary people, it may seem very normal, but for Chen Jianping, Chen Jing, and Chen Song, three surgeons from the Affiliated Union Hospital of Fujian Medical University, it was an extraordinarily intense 32 hours. A patient with multiple brain tumors, including an aneurysm and a brain tumor, required these three doctors to perform six different surgeries. The three surgeons, six anesthesiologists in succession, eight surgical technicians, circulating nurses, and 330 pieces of brain cotton… After the surgery was successful, the three doctors were so exhausted that they collapsed and lay down right next to the operating table. This was saving lives with their own lives, and it also set a new record for the longest surgery at the Affiliated Union Hospital of Fujian Medical University. After the surgery, the doctors were so tired they lay on the floor, but a few minutes later, they got up to take the patient for a CT scan. One of the doctors said: The patient's heart had stopped for more than fifteen minutes, but thanks to our resuscitation, he survived! All this sweat was worth it!
