According to the Daily Mail, Pati Makowska, a history teacher from Warsaw, Poland, became interested in photographing ruins for the first time 12 years ago. Since then, she has been keen on documenting Europe's most beautiful ruins. These places were once bustling with life, and even though they are now abandoned, their former grandeur can still be seen through traces, such as magnificent staircases, faded murals, abandoned kindergartens, intricately painted ceilings, Renaissance architecture, and grand halls. The forgotten spectacular images showcase the brilliance of European architecture, but the photographer is unwilling to reveal the exact locations.
\ This dome ceiling, covered in artistic paintings, has faded and become full of cracks, yet this does not affect its beauty at all.
This magnificent spiral staircase reveals the former luxurious life, with the cast iron railings maintaining their meticulous design.
